Designobo MCP
Designobo's MCP server lets AI agents such as Claude, ChatGPT, Codex and Cursor work with your prototypes. Agents can browse your team's projects, read screens, create new ones and edit existing ones while you watch the changes appear in Designobo.
Server URL: https://designobo.com/mcp
Connect an agent
Add the Designobo server to your agent, then sign in once to approve access for your team.
Run in your terminal:
claude mcp add --transport http designobo https://designobo.com/mcpOpen Claude Code, run /mcp, and authenticate Designobo.
Run in your terminal:
codex mcp add designobo --url https://designobo.com/mcpAuthorize access in the browser window it opens, then open Codex.
Merge into opencode.json in your project:
{
"mcp": {
"designobo": {
"type": "remote",
"url": "https://designobo.com/mcp"
}
}
}Run opencode mcp auth designobo to authorize access.
Merge into .cursor/mcp.json in your project:

Paste this into your coding agent:
Add the Designobo MCP server to your MCP configuration.
- Name: designobo
- URL: https://designobo.com/mcp
- Transport: Streamable HTTP
- Auth: OAuth (the server supports dynamic client registration)
After adding it, start the OAuth login so I can approve access in my browser.Your agent will add the server and open a browser window to approve team access.
How access works
The first time your agent uses Designobo, it opens a browser window. Sign in with your Designobo account and approve access for your team. The agent then gets access to that team only.
Connected agents can:
- See your team's projects and read their screens
- Create and rename projects
- Create, edit, copy, and delete screens
See and disconnect agents at any time on the MCP page. Disconnecting revokes the agent's access immediately.
Tools
- List projects: Find projects in your team by name.
- Create project: Start a new project and get a link to watch screens appear.
- Rename project: Change a project's name.
- List files: List the screens and images in a project.
- Read file: Read a screen's HTML, or view an image file and get its URL.
- Search files: Search screen contents across a project.
- Start screen edit: Lock a screen while the agent edits it, so you see who is working on it.
- Submit screen edit: Save a screen's new HTML and release it.
- Cancel screen edit: Release a screen without saving.
- Check screen: Render a screen in a real browser and report a screenshot and any errors.
- Delete file: Permanently delete a screen or image. Agents only delete when you ask.

- Each project holds up to 256 files and 10 MiB in total, with up to 2 MiB per screen.
